These Bacon Wrapped Dates are like candy! They are addicting, so be sure to make lots of them as they will go fast. Thank you to Brandy for sharing this recipe!
Ingredients:
Bacon
Whole dates, pitted
Sliced water chestnuts

Bake at 400 degrees until bacon is crispy (approximately 30 minutes). Let cool slightly and serve.
Everyone loves this ridiculously easy dip! This recipe comes from Brandy, who got it from Kori J. And if you like this one, you have to try the Salsa Dip recipe.
Ingredients:
1 box cream cheese
Pizza Sauce
Shredded Cheese
Pepperoni (optional)
Black olives (optional)
Spread cream cheese in the bottom of a 9 x 13″ glass dish. Pour pizza sauce over the cream cheese. Top with shredded cheese. Top with optional pepperoni and/or black olives.
Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 40 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve with sliced baguette.
Easy, yummy, and everyone loves them! The smoked paprika makes them look especially pretty.
Ingredients:
Hardboiled eggs (as many as you want)
Honey Mustard
Salt
Pepper
Smoked Paprika (Trader Joe’s has a great one for a great price)
Cut the eggs in half lengthwise and remove the yolks. Mash up the yolk really well, then add mayo, mustard, salt, and pepper to taste. Fill the empty eggs with the yolk mixture. Sprinkle the tops of the eggs with the paprika. Serve!
The cream cheese, pineapple, green bell pepper, and walnuts make an absolutely addicting combination in this cheese ball recipe.
One batch can make three small or two large balls. However, I highly recommend that you bring two large cheese balls to your potluck. I recently only brought one to a party and it got ugly. Lesson learned! This cheese ball is so good that people will fight over it!
This recipe has been in my family for as long as I can remember and I look forward to making it every year for Thanksgiving (and sometimes Christmas and New Year’s Eve).
Ingredients:
2 – 8 oz. packages of cream cheese, softened
1 – 8 oz. can crushed pineapple, drained
1/4 cup finely chopped green bell pepper
2 T. finely minced white onion (sweet onion is my first choice)
1 tsp. seasoned salt
2 cups chopped walnuts (use 1/2 in recipe and 1/2 for rolling the cheeseballs)
Crackers (Ritz are my favorite with this!)
Combine the cream cheese, pineapple, bell pepper, onion, salt, and 1 cup of the chopped walnuts. Refrigerate until firm. Form cheese balls and roll in remaining walnuts. You can serve right away or put in an airtight container and refrigerator until serving time (keeps for about 3 days). Then serve with crackers. Ritz crackers are especially good with this recipe.
This is another family recipe that we often had for New Year’s Eve Parties. I’ve revised the recipe to use pre-made frozen meatballs. Buy two bags and double the recipe for a big crowd because they will go fast!
Ingredients:
1 bag frozen meatballs
3 T. dark molasses
3 T. prepared mustard
3 T. apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 tsp. thyme
Brown the meatballs in a skillet until heated through. Mix all remaining ingredients in a separate bowl. Add sauce to meatballs and simmer until bubbling. Serve meatballs right away. They won’t have time to get cold!
This is an easy, yummy appetizer that always gets devoured at the potluck. When I was a child, this was one of my favorites and now it is one of my son’s favorites too!
Ingredients:
1 package of cream cheese
1 jar of chili sauce (found in the supermarket ketchup section)
1 box of crackers (my first choice is a woven wheat cracker like Triscuits)
Put the bar of cream cheese on a plate. Pour the chili sauce on top. Serve with crackers!
This recipe is inspired by the Chili Sauce Cream Cheese Appetizer also found on this site. This is my go to when I don’t have time to cook. It always gets rave reviews!
Ingredients:
1 package of cream cheese
1 jar of mango chutney
1 box of crackers (my first choice is a woven wheat cracker like Triscuits)
Put the bar of cream cheese on a plate. Pour the mango chutney top. Serve with crackers!
